Young Jeezy teams up with Plies

The last time Young Jeezy had any new music out was 2008. Times have drastically changed since then. Last year, Jeezy was supposed to release a new album. A song by Young Jeezy in reference to NBA stars, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James called "23, 24" was released. Fans excited about the song hoped that it would be the lead single from his new album. Later in 2009, Young Jeezy revealed that his next album would be Thug Motivation 103.

Aside from the title of the album being released to the public, there has not been too much more information revealed about what is going on with Young Jeezy. He has been working on this album ever since late in 2008 and his NBA-star related song was recorded during some of those sessions. Recently, Young Jeezy has began opening up more about his new album. For the most part, he has been recording by himself, but the first collaborator for this album has been revealed.

For the past few years, Young Jeezy and Plies have had a relationship, after all both rappers are united by Rick Ross. Alongside Ross, they have appeared on many DJ Khaled singles. DJ Khaled works the Miami area, but he is an executive for Def Jam, Young Jeezy's long time record label. With Plies and his relationship with Young Jeezy's label mates, it makes sense for the rappers to collaborate. Their collaboration may end up becoming a single off of Theg Motivation 103.

After a few delays, Young Jeezy will release his fourth studio album, Thug Motivation 103 on Def Jam this summer, in June 2010.
