Dame Dash talks Cam'ron and Jim Jones reunion
For the past few years, the breakup between Cam'ron and Jim Jones has been discussed more than the breakup between Dame Dash and Jay-Z. The root of Dash's split with Jay-Z was due to Cam'ron and he enjoyed every minute of it. It was not until he found himself in the same situation that he could sympathize.
In 2006, Cam'ron made his feud with Jay-Z pulic and Jim Jones took it over. More than one time, they reaced out to Dash for him to go against Jay-Z. Admitting that things would never be the same, Dame said that he made too much money with Jay-Z to even be mad. Jay-Z was not as nice about the situation.
While Jim Jones claimed "victory" over Jay-Z, his relationship with Cam'ron had fallen to pieces. When Cam began feuding with 50 Cent, Jones and the rest of Dipset sided with 50. Upon his return, Cam said that their betrayal hurt, but he was not going to cry over it. He reached out for a reunion and Jones spit at it.
However, late last year, his tone changed and Jim Jones spoke of possibly reuniting with Cam'ron. In response, Cam said too late. But, he later said that if the money was right that he could consider reuniting with his old crew. Then, last month, the two finally reunited. Dame Dash had remained friends with both of them throughout their feud. He said that he was glad that they finally came to their senses and decided to work with each other again. Dash, like many other people, feels that their reunion is "great for hip hop."
