After being away from the game four years, Busta Rhymes wanted to return with a bang. Busta had originally planned to release two albums in 2009. His long-awaited album finally came in the form of Back on my BS and he planned to also release The Chemo. It was reported by Hip Hop Vibe, last September, that he wanted to release the album in December of 2009.

However, realizing all he would have to do in order to get the album out so soon, Busta Rhymes began delaying the album. Like so many older artists, it had appeared as if Busta was falling out of love with the game. Earlier this year, the New York rapper said he would retire following the release of the album. Having been in the game fourteen years, he was ready to do other things.

Getting into the album, though, Busta Rhymes felt reenergized and ready to put together more music. One of the main reasons he had fallen out of love with the game was because of his falling out with Interscope Records. With the support of Universal Records, Busta Rhymes easily released Back on my BS and has had no trouble with the new album. Initially, he had thought of naming his album, The Chemo, removing the cancer from the game. But, due to a change in content and out of respect for cancer patients, Busta Rhymes has decided to change the title.

Despite not releasing an album last year, Busta Rhymes has been working on his new album since September of last year and with September of 2010 only days away, he is close to completing the album. To be exact, he said the album is 90% complete. Despite being so close to completing the album, Busta Rhymes said he has yet to think of a suitable title for the new release.
