News of Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch the Throne has spread like wildfire. The rap world has gone crazy after hearing only one song from the album. Apparently, they are doing something right after rival, Jim Jones, even praised their collaboration.
Kanye West has regained the rap throne after being in the shadow of Rick Ross and the Young Money movement. It was a year in which Drake led the movement and took the game over. Young Money continued to gain steam when their boss, Lil Wayne, was released.
Upon Lil Wayne's release, Drake promised fans that the two would record a joint album. Despite the promise, no signs of the album have come. While the Young Money duo has yet to deliver new music, the former Roc-A-Fella duo has come out with a bang. Jay-Z and Kanye West are all over the news with Watch the Throne.
Recently, Drake broke his silence over their new record. He said he was going to be recording with Wayne on Tha Carter IV. Following their collaboration on that album, Drake said the two would come together for a collaboration album. Drake then went on to say that he heard two other rappers had decided they were going to record a collaboration album. He said he had no idea where the other two rappers got the idea from, but that he and Lil Wayne are still going to deliver their new album.
