HHV:How are you Getting into the Game ?
Answer: I been doing shows for about 9-10 years now in the tri-state area so i know what music is poppin and whats not. I've opened for major acts like Slaughterhouse, Sheek Louch, Styles P, Domination, Camp Lo to name a few. My singles are being played on college and internet radio stations and available on iTunes. I've been doing A LOT of different A&R Showcases, working under my imprint, Shut Ya Mouth Music and Movie Star Management (Mikey T The Movie Star).
HHV: What Are You Currently Working On ?
Answer: I am putting together my first EP, Shut Your Mouth and Sign Me and it will be released through my imprint, of the same name. We are releasing it independently through iTunes and available stores.
HHV: That's hilarious, what made you name your EP Shut Your Mouth and Sign Me?
Answer: It just fell into place. Anytime I'm out in a musical setting like a club or show or whatever I watch the crowds reactions to each song thats played. Ether it makes you want to dance or get a drink. I try to make undeniable records that get the crowds attention. I feel at this point in the game, the people ready for some real music from a real emcee.
HHV: What inspires most of your music?
Answer: My music is based around the trials and errors of life, growing up in a crime infested area, yet trying to stay positive and become successful in the music industry. Every day is a lesson learned so everyday I have a verse to write, and that's another song the people have to hear. Me venting life situations helps other people going through similar situations.
HHV: Artists That Influence you ?
RBH: Biggie, Tupac, Dr. Dre, Wu-Tang, Redman, Ice Cube, Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, Lil Wayne, D-Block, 8Ball & MJG, project pat to name a few that list could go on. Everybody's the best at something there all leaders in hip hop so I let the teachers teach hahaha.
HHV: What impact do you want to have on the game?
Answer: Once I get in I don't plan on leaving, I'm built for this. I'm ready for the world to take me in as a household name. I want to go out as the broke guy that kept telling them to shut they mouth and listen and they did!" hahahahaha.
