Soulja Boy still upset over 2008 Grammy loss to Kanye West

In 2007, Soulja Boy burst onto the scene with a song that would change the entire year. His song, "Crank Dat," would top the charts and become an anthem in 2007. The song's run came to an end following the release of Kanye West's "Good Life" with T-Pain.

Despite Kanye West knocking him off the top of Billboard, Soulja Boy was still sure he could win the Grammy. He was beside himself when he learned he was nominated for the Grammys. Soulja Boy was surprised he had taken off so quickly.

However, when the award was presented, Soulja Boy found himself in the background. Kanye West's song won the award and he blocked it out. Soulja Boy said he told himself that he would win the award next year.

By the looks of reception to The DeAndre Way, that does not appear to be happening any time soon.
