Bow Wow prepares Cash Money debut

Only months after his "retirement," Bow Wow announced he had signed with Cash Money Records. At the time, Cash Money was going through a transitional phase. Lil Wayne returned the label to dominance with Tha Carter III. Following his success, Wayne added several high-profile artists to his Young Money label.
Birdman was interested in making the overall Cash Money label dominant. The first major signing of the main Cash Money label was Bow Wow. Immediately after signing, Bow Wow was making appearances with Lil Wayne. Bow Wow and Lil Wayne have been friends for several years.
Initially, Bow Wow intended to release his album in 2010. But, with all of the focus on Lil Wayne and Young Money, Bow Wow decided to hold off. Birdman said he intends to release well over ten albums in 2011 from Cash Money. With that said, Bow Wow returned to the studio in order to put the finishing touches on his first album since New Jack City, Pt. II.
Recently, Bow Wow talked about his new album, announcing major collaborations. Bow Wow said his upcoming release will feature Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and Fabolous. He, along with Snoop and Fab, have a new single called "Cuff Your Chick," the single will be released within the next few weeks, along with a video. Bow Wow said this album is unlike any of his previous releases. Now that he is with the hottest record label in the game, Bow Wow has to come harder than ever before.
