This week has been very crazy for Jay-Z. For months, he has promised the Watch the Throne album with Kanye West. After the reelase of "H.A.M.," the album was seemingly halted, but recently new material was released. With the premiere of their new single, "Otis," came rumors that Jay-Z had slapped his protege, Kanye West.

Jay-Z spent most of the week talking about the album and diffusing the Kanye West rumors. Now, there are stories about his upcoming album. In the midst of all the Jay-Z news, there were rumors of him purchasing The Billionaire Boyz clothing line, launched by Pharrell.

For years, Jay-Z has served as a mentor, of sorts, to Pharrell, collaborating on multiple songs. Jay-Z has a proven track record in clothing, with the success of Rocawear. However, Jay-Z admitted he did not purchase the clothing line from his faithful producer. While not buying the clothing line, Jay-Z said he and Pharrell will be entering a new partnership. Jay-Z and Pharrell will now serve as the official faces of the company.
