Mac Miller has taken the internet by storm over the past year and a half. The Pittsburgh rapper has several videos out and he has been featured on many of the top websites. Even with all this publicity, he has yet to release an official studio album.

The latest feature for Mac Miller came when he was featured on the MTV Jams' Fab 5, alongside Big Sean, Big K.R.I.T., Meek Mill, and Future. It was during his Fab 5 feature when Mac Miller opened up, giving insight on his life.

When asked about his name, Mac Miller said his grandfather often called him "Mac" growing up. For years, he went by the stage moniker of Easy Mac. But, in recent years, he began calling himself by his known name, Mac Miller.

Mac Miller joked of how his grandfather was a major fan of Mack Maine. But, on a serious note, Mac is currently working on his debut album, Blue Slide Park. The album will be released on Rostrum Records, but has no set release date.
