Mos Def speaks on the success of Tyler, the Creator and Odd Future

The year of 2011 has been incredible for Odd Future, as Tyler, the Creator has emerged as one of rap's brightest stars. Meanwhile, Frank Ocean has become one of the rising talents in R&B. Now, the group can be found on many hip hop sites and all over MTV.

Long before their success, Mos Def gave a major co-sign to Odd Future. From the beginning, Mos said he was their potential. While he admitted he was not a fan of their content, Mos Def said he loves their energy. Mos Def believe anyone who continues to work at it will reach their goals.

Now, with all the success coming from their frontman, Tyler, the Creator, and Frank Ocean, along with their new show on Adult Swim, Mos Def said he is very happy for the crew. Congratulating them on their success, Mos Def said he wishes them more success in the future.
