Last summer, Pusha T signed with G.O.O.D. Music, marking one of the biggest hip hop deals during the summer of 2010. Pusha T immediately made his presence felt. Aside from his mixtape music, he contributed to Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and is now focused on his debut album.

Pusha T is connected to Jay-Z through Kanye West and through his close relationship with Pharrell. Now, a part of the G.O.O.D. family, he has really gotten to know Jay-Z. Much like the rest of the hip hop community, Pusha T has heard Lil Wayne's jab at Jay-Z on his new single, "It's Good."

The diss has many ready for Jay-Z's response, as some think Wayne has the upper hand. Pusha T does not feel this way, he thinks Jay-Z's earlier diss on "H.A.M." was more real. The reason Jay-Z's was more real, in Pusha T's opinion, was because his jab was mean. While Lil Wayne's reply was hot, Pusha T feels he would not actually do the things he said on the record, which makes Jay-Z the winner in his book.

In the wake of their feud, Birdman recently said Jay-Z is on his way out of the game. Pusha T also did not agree with that statement. Having been with Jay-Z and Kanye West, as they recorded the bulk of their album, he thinks Jay-Z has much more left in the tank. Pusha T said Jay-Z and Kanye West cannot be on the way out with their level of lyricism. The work they displayed on Watch the Throne led Pusha T to state the album was the best of 2011.
