Pusha T disses George W. Bush over Kanye comments

By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer

Last month, George W. Bush talked about the lowest points in his presidency. He said the lowest point, by far, was when Kanye West said he did not care about black people. After hearing what the former president said, West apologized to him. Ever since his backlash over Taylor Swift, he said he feels Bush's pain.

Through the media, George W. Bush and Kanye West have been communicating. While they could not have been friends while Bush was president, they appear to have found common ground now that he is out of office. There have been rumors of the two having a public meeting to signal their truce.

Over the summer, Kanye West added Pusha T to his G.O.O.D. Music label. In a matter of months, Pusha has become the second-biggest act, behind Kanye. Along with being the number two man, he has stepped up to defend Kanye West at every turn. When someone says something negative about West they have Pusha T to deal with.

Despite Kanye West making amends with George W. Bush, hard feelings remain with Pusha T. In an interview with SOHH, Pusha T revealed that he doesn't care what Bush's lowest point was. He said the former president should have wondered why most people agreed with what Kanye said about him. The black neighborhoods in New Orleans were left to rot, while other areas of the city were quickly repaired. In the minds of many Americans, that appears to be racist.

Yesterday, Kanye West sat down with an interview with Matt Lauer for "The Today Show." Following the interview, West was highly upset and feels as if he was set up. During the interview, Kanye West formally apologized to George W. Bush over the Hurricane Katrina comments.

In the middle of West's humble apology, the producers began playing the clip of Kanye at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. He would accuse Matt Lauer of conducting the interview under false pretenses and trying to coherce emotional answers from him.

After a horrible interview, Kanye West says he is done dealing with the press.

Read his Twitter posts below:

I went up there to express how I was empathetic to Bush because I labeled him a racist and years later I got labeled as a racist....

By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer

For the first time since leaving the White House last year, George W. Bush has spoken about his presidency. Many people blame Bush for the poor state of the American economy. Now that he is out of the public eye, Bush has started to talk about his time as president.

Looking back, Bush admits he made plenty of mistakes, but he said his lowest point was during Hurricane Katrina. He said that when Kanye West said Bush did not like Black people, he felt as if he had officially failed as a president. Now that he is out of office, people sympathize with the former president.

All of the years of speaking his mind caught up to Kanye West last fall when he interrupted Taylor Swift at the VMAs. His outburst led to a major backlash, similar to the Bush backlash following Katrina. Upon hearing the former president's comment, Kanye West offered a public apology and said he knows how Bush feels now.

Being in his shoes for over a year and realizing the trouble he has caused with his mouth, Kanye West hopes that George W. Bush will see where he is coming from and accept his apology.
