Pusha T discusses G.O.O.D. Music debut and Kanye West relationship
By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
Pusha T has officially separated himself from Malice and The Clipse, establishing himself as a solo artist. Earlier this year, he released his solo mixtape, Fear of God. Much like recent mixtapes, the release was received as if it was an album.
Last year, Kanye West pulled off a major signing when he was able to get Pusha T to sign to G.O.O.D. Music. Obviously, the deal paid off, given his performance on West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album.
On his debut album, Pusha T will be working very closely with West, who will also serve as an executive producer on the album. Because of West's tendency to be a fan, the album has an unusual twist. The album is said to show a different side of Pusha T.
While working on this album, Pusha T and Kanye West's friendship has deepened and it has helped them in the process. Read more...

Malice to change his name
By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
Ever since The Clipse went solo, Pusha T has been making more news than his brother, Malice. Pusha T quickly got himself signed to G.O.O.D. Music and he released a critically-acclaimed mixtape. Currently, Pusha T is recording his debut album.
While Malice is not working on an album, he is recording. Since he, too, is going solo, Malice is also trying to change his style up. Malice has decided to change his stage name. He said his current name does not live up to the lifestyle he represents.
Due to the fact he is not a malicious person, Malice feels his stage name does not fit. He said his die hard fans understand, but potential newer fans may be turned off by his current name. Currently, Malice does not have a new name, but he will soon reveal one. Read more...

Pusha T working with Kanye West on Debut Album
By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
Following the release of his Fear of God mixtape, Pusha T has jumped into his debut solo album. Pusha T has been in the game for well over a decade. The Clipse achieved national acclaim when they released their 2002 album under the guidance of The Neptunes.
However, it has been a struggle for The Clipse in the time since. The music from The Clipse has been well received by critics. But, the duo of brothers, Pusha T and Malice, have struggled to reach the same level of commercial success.
Last summer, Pusha T signed with Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music and appeared on West's comeback album. Interest in Pusha T is at an all-time high. He and Kanye West have been in the studio working on several new projects.
While Pusha T has not decided on the title for the album, or a release date, he says he and Kanye West have already completed six tracks for the album. Pusha T says he and Kanye West are going to take some time off to spend time in Chile. When they return, they will get back to work on Pusha T's long-awaited debut album, which has been delayed by his manager's issues and label changes. Read more...

By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
Despite signing with G.O.O.D. Music, Pusha T still maintains close contact with Malice, his brother, and the other half of the Clipse. It was time for Pusha to make a move with his own career, so he teamed up with Kanye West.
Malice has also been working on his solo career. Recently, many websites have been praising Pusha T. While he accepts the praise, he said his stuff is nothing compared to Malice. Currently, Malice is working on his own mixtape, too.
Aside from the solo projects, Pusha T admitted he and Malice would soon be back in the studio. Having not released an album since 2009, Pusha T feels hip hop is ready for another album from the Clipse. Read more...

Pusha T discusses Malice and Consequence
By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
Recently, Pusha T spoke with KarenCivil.com, giving the fans an update about his career. Pusha T debuted in 2002, alongside his brother, Malice as The Clipse. Earlier this year, the crew signed with superstar, Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label.
New music is coming from the camp and Malice recently put together a freestyle called "Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind, and Naked." The freestyle caught the attention of a lot of people and people want answers.
Speaking on the freestyle, Pusha T said Malice spoke from the heart about where he is at right now. He said no matter the situation, Malice is always coming from the heart no matter what. Pusha T said one reason to support Malice is because he is real.
Pusha T also spoke on the "Man Purses" song from Consequence, a diss from the G.O.O.D. Music rapper to the camp. He said he never spoke on the situation before, but he feels as if there is no real feud going on because Consequence has been on the label for a long time. Pusha T feels more than anything Cons is having a little spat with Kanye West and things will soon be back to business as usual. Read more...

Pusha T replies to Dipset and discusses G.O.O.D deal
By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
The past month has been great for Pusha T. A few years ago, he attempted to land a solo career. Ever since 2002, he has been one half of The Clipse. The crew made multiple hits in the 2002-2003, but has fallen off since.
Earlier this month, Pusha T ended up signing with Kanye West and his G.O.O.D. Music label. Right when things began to look good, following his VMA performance of "Runway," the crew takes in a diss from Dipset. Dipset has been a long rival of Kanye West.
Despite his solo career seemingly taking off, Pusha T still wants people to know The Clipse still exists. But, at this point in his life, he wants to do something for himself. Currently, Malice is writing a book and doing a film.
Once he feels something good coming, Pusha T hopes The Clipse can come out with another album and more music can come from the Re-Up gang. Right now, Pusha is focusing on making the overall brand grow under the G.O.O.D. Music name. With the focus on the brand, Pusha T quickly dismissed the diss from Jim Jones, by asking if the "Runway" diss was good because he had not heard it. Read more...
