Maino lands Prodigy, Jim Jones, and More for New Mixtape

In a little over a month, Maino will release his long-awaited sophomore album, Day After Tomorrow. Before the release of his album will be his mixtape, I Am Who I Am. The mixtape is sub-titled The Album Before The Album.
Despite I Am Who I Am truly being a mixtape, Maino said he is treating it more like an album. Working with several DJs for the album, Maino said this will be a real mixtape. He will have freestyles, along with new music, for the album.
During an interview with BET.com, Maino revealed a number of guest appearances. Maino has recruited Ace Hood, Yo Gotti, Prodigy, Trina, and Jim Jones. With that type of lineup, the mixtape is truly an album before an album. Read more...
