Dubbed as the future of the West Coast, Compton rapper, Kendrick Lamar, is keeping the wave going. The relative newcomer recently released Section.80 and now has his debut album in the works. Fans are eagerly waiting for a full offering from Kendrick Lamar.

Speaking on his debut album, Kendrick Lamar said he will go deep on this album. Kendrick Lamar said the album would be about his history growing up in Compton. Kendrick Lamar said everyone wants to know his history, so he is going to give it to them in his album.

Kendrick Lamar said the recording process is what has kept him grounded. He wants to tell the story of the good kid from the mad city. Keeping this focus has stopped him from getting big-headed, despite co-signs from Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Game, among others. The goal for Kendrick Lamar is to one day have the same status they do.
