Kreayshawn speaks on Game's disses

By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer

Earlier this summer, Kreayshawn burst onto the scene. As a representative of the West Coast, Kreayshawn is the opposite of how most would view a West Coast rapper. Still, she raps about a number of the same topics. Kreayshawn also infamously uses the N-word in a number of her songs.

Many rappers have addressed Kreayshawn. While some have taken offense to her lyrics, many think she is cute. Game is not impressed at all by Kreayshawn. The Compton rapper has threatened her safety a number of times. Game said he would physically hurt Kreayshawn if they ever came face-to-face.

Kreayshawn recently discussed the situation with Game, saying she does not want to slap a grown ass man. She also jokingly threatened to call 50 Cent, Game's longtime enemy. When her manager asked her to calm down, Kreayshawn begins to call game out. Among other things, Kreayshawn said Game was a fake ass blood.

Her manager, "Stretch" McCoy, advised her to be quiet, but Kreayshawn said she could not be the little white bitch who would hide every tim she got dissed. With Game throwing several shots, Kreayshawn said she was tired of it.

Game hails Tyler, the Creator as the West Coast's Eminem

By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer

Game has supported Tyler, the Creator and Odd Future ever since they debuted. Tyler, the Creator has had a major year, this year, with successful music and disses for both Chris Brown and Bruno Mars. During Odd Future's beef with Chris Brown, Game tried to diffuse the situation.

While the feud was not resolved, Game featured both crews on his album, The R.E.D. Album. Perhaps the most controversial track off the album is "Martians vs. Goblins." It should come as no surprise, to those familiar with Odd Future that the track features none other than Tyler, the Creator.

The song, which leaked last month, features Game rapping in a similar pattern to Tyler, the Creator. The gangsta rapper takes a gothic turn on the song, dissing Rihanna and Lil B in the opening lines of the song. Tyler, the Creator takes the second verse, dissing Chris Brown, Bruno Mars, Tyler Perry, and LeBron James. Game concludes the song going after Erykah Badu and LeBron James.

While Game is controversial, many did not expect him to say many of the things he said. Speaking on the song, Game said his lyrics were inspired by Tyler, the Creator. His reason for doing this was because "when you're on a song with Tyler, you can say whatever the fuck you want." Game admitted he is already outspoken on his songs, but Tyler takes things to another level. The Compton rapper went on to compare the newcomer to Eminem.

Eminem gained international fame in 1999 for his controversial lyrics. However, Tyler, the Creator's lyrics makes Eminem's seem conservative, at times. Game said Tyler is the Eminem of the West Coast.

By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer

Throughout the history of hip hop, rappers have tried to show themselves as strong men. Not all rappers play the tough guy, but all of them project themselves as ladies men. Even the nerdy rappers object when they are accused of being gay.

Lil B is coming from one of hip hop's toughest regions, the West Coast. Preceeding him out West is Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Game, and many other gangsta rappers. Lil B often raps some hardcore lyrics, but he needs a boost.

In a tough market, rappers have to find ways to stand out. Lil B has definitely found a way to generate attention. His debut album, which will be released this summer, will be titled I'm Gay. Lil B said it was the most controversial thing a rapper could do.

While he is not gay, Lil B said he does have respect for the homosexual community. Lil B went on to say he loves women. The true definition of gay is happy and Lil B said he is very happy with his life. On his upcoming debut album, Lil B wants to express his happiness and the best way to do it is by giving the title to his album. By The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer

Last year, Jay Rock caused controversy when he challenged the legendary Ice Cube over his I Am The West album title. Cube was recording a new album and boasted of how he was saving West Coast hip hop. But, newcomer, Jay Rock, took offense to the comments made by the former NWA frontman.

Jay Rock and Ice Cube traded Twitter insults from early in the year right up until the summer. Their beef cooled down when Ice Cube shifted his attention to his TBS sitcom. Soon, the album was released and Jay Rock went back to recording. Under the radar, the Compton rapper is back to work with another former NWA member.

Dr. Dre has been working on Detox since 1999 with many release dates scattered throughout the past ten years. Recently, Dr. Dre has released singles from the album and has been working on actually releasing an actual album. Dre is even performing at the upcoming Grammys with Eminem in order to promote the album.

Recently, Jay Rock hit the studio with Dr. Dre and he said he was honored to be in the same room, let alone studio, with Dre. He acknowledged his legendary status and commended him on Detox. According to Jay Rock, the album is well worth the wait. With the release date still a few months away, Jay Rock said the album will go down as one of hip hop's classic albums. For the work on this album, Jay Rock said Dr. Dre deserves more than 100% respect, more along the lines of 112% respect.
