Time is winding down for Drake and his sophomore album, Take Care. Recently, the Young Money rapper discussed his upcoming project with Entertainment Weekly. During the interview, Drake discussed how weird it is that fans want a new project only one year after his debut.

Giving the fans what they want, Drake said he is drawing inspiration from his experiences since his debut album released. Among the people Drake is working with on his album is Stevie Wonder. This, obviously, is the biggest collaboration of his career. Working with the legend will only show Drake's growth.

Aside from his own album, Drake admitted he did enjoy Watch the Throne, despite his verse on "It's Good." When asked about the marketing of Watch the Throne, Drake said he does not think Jay-Z would have allowed a digital release of his own solo album. Nor does Drake believe Jay-Z would have allowed listeners for his own solo album.

Excited about his own project, Drake has been working very closely with Lil Wayne. Last year, the duo announced they would be putting together a collaborative album. Before they had the chance to record, though, Jay-Z and Kanye West announced Watch the Throne. Drake sent light jabs towards the duo, before showing love. Even though a year has passed, Drake said the project with Lil Wayne is still on the way.

Drake also said he will likely join Rick Ross in the studio for their own collaborative project. This year, the two have recorded several songs together. Last year, Drake and Rick Ross teamed up for "Aston Martin Music." Earlier this year, the two collaborated on "Made Men." The chemistry between the two, from a musical standpoint, is there and Drake said he would not mind doing music with him.

At the start of the year, Rick Ross announced his fifth studio album would be on the way. Following the success of Teflon Don, Ross said his next album would be called God Forgives, I Don't. Two months after announcing the album, Rick Ross' "Made Men" single, with Drake, was released.

However, as the spring approached, Rick Ross announced he would be doing an album with Maybach Music. The name of the album was Self Made, Vol. 1. The Hip Hop Writer
Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer

The run for Rick Ross seems poised to continue throughout 2011, as the Carol City rapper is slated to perform at the 2011 BET Awards. Last year, Rick Ross had a dominant year, as his Teflon Don album was among the most popular of 2010. At the end of the year, Ross' focus shifted to his Maybach Music label.

Aside from his "Made Men" single with Drake, Rick Ross has only been heard through Maybach Music. Among their hits are "Tupac Back" and "Play Your Part." Every song Rick Ross has been on, ever since 2009, has gone on to become a hit. Ross has at least one verse on most of the year's hits already.

Recently, BET announced Rick Ross would be one of their performers at their upcoming awards show. It is unclear if he will perform one of his hits, or if it will be a collaboration. Likely, Ross will perform a few of his songs with his Maybach Music team.

Rick Ross begins recording "God Forgives, I Don't"

With a good portion of the business taken care of, Rick Ross is back to doing what made him famous in the first place. Recently, the Carol City rapper has been working on his latest album, which is titled God Forgives, I Don't. For this album, Ross plans to continue his trend of recording with the stars.

Rick Ross has been busy over the past few months with the expansion of Maybach Music. Last fall, he bragged about possibly signing Wale. Earlier this month, he did just that and signed two more artists to his label. The rapid growth led to a bidding war, which included Jay-Z, Diddy, Birdman, and Warner Bros.

The bidding war ended when Rick Ross decided to enter a venture with Warner Bros. Now, he is free to get back to doing what led to the empire in the beginning. Despite all of the discussion about the title of the album and the theme, Rick Ross had not done much recording. A song with Drake, which was titled "Made Men," was released, but nothing more had come.

Ross has now backed this up with footage of him in the studio with DJ Toomp, as they are hammering out some new tracks for the album.
